Optimal Routing of Wide Multi-Modal Energy and Infrastructure Corridors

A multi-modal corridor accommodates multiple modes of energy and transportation infrastructure within the same right-of-way. The existing literature on routing in raster space often focuses one mode with no consideration width. This is not a realistic assumption, especially if are to co-exist wide Moreover, newer methods that consider width cannot take into account multi-modality arrangement corridor. We developed two wide-corridor using data. In first method, cost rasters all weighted aggregated single composite which LCP found. then divided among based desired arrangement. second method uses directed transformed graph weight each edge calculated different layers data direction, widths modes. Comparative analyses synthetic datasets show superior performance proposed finding muti-modal comparison mode, single-modal when compared methods.
